Estruturas artísticas nos diálogos literários de Ramon Llull

Abstract

In Ramon Llull’s work there are some 26 literary dialogue in Latin and Catalan, which follow authors like Boethius, Augustine of Hippo and St. Gregory; many of them are interreligious dialogues. Along with the romance and lyrical, they shaped the literary expression of their author. Although those dialogues are not totally isolated from this genre tradition, they have their own characteristics, which derive from the Lullian Art system, for instance Llibre del gentil, Liber Tartari, Consolatio Venetorum or the dialogic poem Lo desconhort. These texts gather existing traditions such as the consolatory dialogue or the versi ed intention, but Llull modi es them with combinatorial elements and triple structures that come from his Ars magna. Of particular interest is the aesthetic that would be called essentialist and the introduction of the character Ramon or Raimundus between the interlocutors.

Resumo

Na obra de Raimundo Lúlio existem cerca de 26 diálogos literários em latim e catalão, na esteira de autores como Boécio, Agostinho de Hipona e São Gregório. Muitos deles são diálogos inter- religiosos. Junto com o romance e a lírica, são a forma de expressão literária do autor. Embora esses diálogos não sejam totalmente diferentes da tradição deste género, têm as suas próprias caraterísticas que derivam do sistema da arte luliana. Assim acontece com o Llibre del gentil, Liber Tartari, Consolatio Venetorum ou o poema dialógico Lo desconhort. Estes textos retomam tradições existentes, tais como o diálogo consolatório ou a intenção versi cada, mas Lúlio modi ca-os com elementos combinatórios e estruturas triplas retiradas da sua Ars magna. Interesse particular merece uma estética que podia ser chamada essencialista e a introdução do personagem Raimundo, ou Raimundus, entre os interlocutores.
