Guilherme de Ockham: sobre a univocidade do ente
Abstract
This paper aims to make a conceptual reconstruction on the univocal being problem
in William of Ockham. A textual and non-contextual perspective is assumed, i.e.,
only the writings of Ockham are addressed, without collating its position with those
of other authors. Firstly are discussed the notions of univocal, equivocal, analogy
and, finally, without exhausting the matter, is presented the Ockham’s concept of
“ens” and how it can be univocally predicated of God and creatures.
Keywords: Being; univocity; God; creatures.
Authors: William of Ockham.
